Weekend at Fishlake

Every year a group of our friends rent a huge cabin in Fishlake for the weekend. This was my first year going. There was a total of 17 people (no kids) there to play, fish, visit, and enjoy the weekend.

You would think that 17 adults is alot of people, but the cabin was so huge, that we never felt crammed or anything.

My pictures are in a totally random order, cause blogger decided to shuffle them I guess.

Jodi taking a nap.
She was always up at daybreak to go fishing.

Who knew Jenga could be so fun!

That's me; relaxing by my ice hole....

Todd and John-- they were the deisgnated fish fillet-ers.

Chad, Jared's cousin.
He is the one that sets the whole weekend up.
Thanks Chadder!

More Jenga.....

Rusty, Jodi's husband with one of the many fish caught

Me and my lone fish

It was a great weekend filled with good friends, good conversation, and good fishing. The weather was beautiful.
It was very nice to get away for a long weekend.... get away from work, from cell phones, from reality. I will definately go next year!
For journaling purposes--here is who went:
Tori and Jared
Jason and Brenda
Chad and Jen
Amber and Steve
Todd and Jolene
John and Nan
Dan and Suzanne
Rusty and Jodi
